Soon, Easter in the South of Norway.
I am wearing print set from MQ - skirt and top, inner jacket from By Malene Birger, trench coat from Morris, bag from ADAX, tights from Wolford and over kneee boots from NLY
Spring is here and I've allowed myself to add some new spring additions to my closet! Ok, I went crazy shopping on the internet. I told myself that I could return the things that I didn't love, but so far I've kept everything. Oops! I just love this printed set from MQ/ST CKHOLM. It is great to match, as well as to mix! The top looks amazing with wide leg trousers and high waist denims, and the skirt looks great with a simple turtle-neck knit and boots. Sorry for the squinting in the shots, the sun was strong, and warm! ♥
PS: For those of you wondering, the over knee boots are a bit small in size and "tight" at first, but the seem to have stretched out a bit (on my feet) after walking in them. Now they fit perfectly, and are true-to-size.
Here are some details from my last OOTD. I am wearing Lancôme nailpolish in color 323B Palpitante, and YSL Kiss & Blush lip and cheek stain
Just a quick snapshot from icy Oslo yesterday! I am wearing denim top from Lindex, jeans from Never Denim, shoes Filippa K, and bag Givenchy
This summer I am going to be all about suntanned brown skin, long dark hair and earth tones. I therefore couldn't resist YSL's new summer nailpolishes which consist of N°61 Brun Henné, a terracotta brown color inspired my Moroccon henna and N°62 Jaune Babouche which is a warm yellom color inspired by the color of traditional Morrocan leather slippers. It is a bit too cold for bare skin just yet, but in the meantime I am accessorizing with lots of gold to "warm" up my looks!
Luckily, by the time you've realized it, you're so deep into it that it doesn't matter any more. But this isn't an entry about that! I just wanted to share these warm and glamorous pictures of Sarah Jessica Parker and her family for VOGUE. I just love her. I wish my blog pictures looked this glam, but so far I'm still working on it. ;) ;) I just felt like sharing them because I spend so much time on Pinterest planning my future home, but the pictures always seem so empty and for grown-ups only. These pictures were needed inspiration for a life with kids.
On another note, This weekend was spent in bed with fever, cold sweats and a stomach bug. When I finally felt a little better I felt terrible for not being there for James 100% during our weekend time so we had a full day out in the sunshine playing in the park, looking at the Aker river in Oslo rush by and riding around in his little toy carriage. James went to bed today with the hugest smile plastered on his face so I felt a little better. :)
Here is a little summary of my looks lately! I haven't posted as many looks this week cause honestly, I've been a little uninspired. My favorite thing to do when I'm feeling kind of blah about my outfits is to put on some red lipstick. It dresses up all looks. :)
I have to admit that I wasn't completely sure about these trousers when I first put them on, but they've grown on me. They're just so darn comfortable and the black silhouette effect is really flattering. I can't wait to wear them with a simple skinny strap top in the summer, with my hair up in a messy bun.
I am wearing top from COS, trousers from Ivy Revel, shoes from Bianco similar, bag from Givenchy
Happy saturday! Today John and I decided to do absolutely nothing. No outfit post, no answering emails, no nothing. The apartment is clean and tidy, there are fresh flowers on the table and we're just going to hang out together. A perfect day for Little Taco, John and I.
Have you ever wondered how florists arrange their flowers so perfectly in a vase? I found this clever little hack on Pinterest a few days ago and it works amazingly. I am going to use this trick from now on to perfect my flower arranging skills.
I have sometimes thought about calling my blog "The Classicist" because I have such a love for classic items. The trench coat is a spring favorite. One of my constant projects is curating the perfect wardrobe through finding the "perfect" version of each classic must-have. In this trench it was the details that I fell for. The color is a perfect dusty beige, I Iove the details in the seams, the pop of pink lining makes the coat less boring and the brown leather detailing is just gorgeus.
I am wearing a trench coat from Morris Lady here, sunglasses Prada, bag Givenchy similar here, knit By Malene Birger similar here, jeans Never Denim similar here and shoes Aldo similar here (*affiliate links)
A couple of months ago I got an email from Stokke asking me if Taco would like to model their Tripp Trapp chair. I of course answered YES! I've been such a huge fan of their products and the company that I work for (Varier Furniture) actually used to be a part of Stokke so I just felt that this was really right. Taco is just like his momma and he loves the camera so I thought, hey, as long as he is having fun then why not right?
I have been obsessing about this stunning Stockholm apartment since the day I first saw pictures of it. I love everything about it. I don't think that I would decorate my "dream apartment" exactly like this, but there are some elements in this interior that are just spot on, and in my opinion, timeless.
From classic apartments to classic denim skirts! I've had this skirt from A.P.C. bookmarked for a couple of months now. (*affiliate link)
Sometimes I see a lamp and I just think to myself "I need to save money for this, I need this in my life". This lamp did that to me. The lamp is called: IC Light F2, it is designed by Michael Anastassiades and produced by Flos.
I've never been a true blue sneaker girl, but these ones are FRESH. I see myself wearing them with a delicate lace dress and suntanned legs or with a pair of tapered vintage Levi's. OK, dammit! I guess I am a sneaker girl! I need these! The model is Nike Air Max Thea.
